Sun Up

Great story, beautifully shot and captures the tone of a classic western perfectly.

This looks really gripping and dramatic..Cant wait to see it!

  4. I really enjoyed the movie. I was drawn to the detail of everything. The production was on point especially with the house. I also loved the time put into making everything seem as real as possible. A perfect example is the shot of deck of cards next to the camp fire. They looked dirty and worn down sort of like the character in the story. I was surprised to see the good guy live though. The beginning of the last scene before the show down it looked like the antagonist was going to win by the way they were positioned in the wide shot. With the main character looking up at the antagonist it made be believe that the main character was looking up out of his own grave. I GUESS NOT. I loved the twist and it was a great ending

Perfect cinematography, when I watch a movie one of the most important things is to see if the Rule of third was applied, congrats here. Second is lighting, I saw a powerful low lighting in this film. Color correction was valuable to the story telling. Awesome camera movements, nice unnoticeable music and sounds, Professional acting and great directing.
These days is hard to find a short film like this which contain all the Principles.
    Congratulations to the team.
    Worth watching twice

I absolutely love this short film! There are many videos that I really liked in the portfolio. The videos on the Agoura Animal Shelter, Big Brother’s Big Sister’s Organization, and the Malibu Coast Animal Hospital were particularly touching, and the Dodger’s TV spots are really cool. The use of text tracking and dolly shots in the hotel videos are really neat also.

What I liked most about “Sun Up” is the cinematography. The lighting, the camera angles and the use of shallow depth of field in many of the shots were excellent. The color grading totally helped set the mood and feel of the film. I also really liked the acting and the music, which helped carry the story along quite nicely.
