The Desert Castle Project
We sent a production team to the Desert Castle villa for 3 days of filming in Palm Springs. Our client wanted something that would really stand out in the minds of his potential renters, so our creative specialists spent a lot of time developing ideas on how to highlight the home. Upon the launch of the video, there was an immediate increase in our client’s booking rates, reaching maximum capacity within 2 weeks. A picture may be worth a thousand words, but a video is 24 pictures per second for 60 seconds.
One of the most important aspects of this video was being able to highlight different areas of the house in a unique way that left the viewer with a desire to see more. Our production teams have access to helicopters around the country, and world for that matter, and we were able to capture some very cool aerial shots to really give the viewer a different perspective (like our Dodgers Project).

Beautiful camera work highlights the locations and it’s unique amenities. The location provides beautiful shape in it’s architecture which creates room for creativity with lighting and camera movement. It is very dynamic and fast paced which keeps the viewer engaged. Beautiful work.
Awesome clip. Really great editing. This video had some super shots. I love the constant pans, tilts and glide cam effects, the fast to slow motion cuts, split screens and the colors are great! Perfect layering of text – perfect aerial shots to enter the property and exit. Nicely done. NICE choice of music and SFX.
One of my favs in your port.
This video is awe inspiring with the use of aerial shots and the split screen edits to show the tiniest detail while showing the grandeur of the rest of the location. I really liked this video, through and through.

I think this video is my favorite overall. I have done a few real estate videos in the past, and I love the cutting edge approach to this. It is a perfect blend of cinematic expertise, and passive-aggressive editing and effects. Very well done.
Wow that color grading takes the video to the next level!
